Coors Light Taste of San Joaquin  and the Way Out West BBQ Championship is a premier all-American Celebration in Downtown Stockton!

Featuring the West Coast’s best BBQ, the Way Out West BBQ Championship will be held on Saturday, May 21 at the Taste of San Joaquin. Talented cooks from all over the Western United States will compete for a California State Championship at the BBQ Championship.  We anticipate 10,000+ attendees for this one day event.

Gates open to the public  on May 21 at 11:30 am.

Way Out West BBQ Championship celebrates it’s 3^rd year and is the fastest growing festival in Stockton.  We anticipate 10,000+ attendees for this one day event. Our media coverage is vast and this year Coor’s Lite is the Title Sponsor.  We anticipate a stellar event.

Last year we received nothing but praises from our vendors, many who wanted to immediately sign up for this year. 
 
People love good BBQ, and they love cool, unique vendor wares. You can showcase your fine wares in front of thousands happy people.And here's the best part - happy people like to buy those cool vendor products. 
 
 If you have a unique or quality product we encourage you to apply immediately as we will only be accepting a limited amount of vendors.
 

Early entry remains at last year’s fee of $100 a BARGIN in today’s market.  Early entry fees are good through the month of March only.
