The celebration begins July 2^nd as competition BBQ teams from across the Western United States converge at the Weber Point Event Center to compete for cash prizes, bragging rights, and a State Championship BBQ title. Once these competitors fire up their pits, downtown Stockton will be filled with the overwhelming aroma of smoke and spice awaiting your tasting and judgment the following day at the Second Annual Taste of San Joaquin.
